Lauren Mahoney is a director from Colorado. She produces podcasts, videos, and community events.
Lauren's work focuses on art and science communications. Her short films have been featured in the Palm Springs International ShortFest, the Raw Science Film Festival, Venice Fine Arts Film Festival, DOC LA and others.
Current projects include cohosting the Why AxS podcast and a documentary investigation into the means to propel gun safety initiatives called How to Sell Gun Safety.
Lauren is a lead organizer for the nonfiction filmmaking collective the Video Consortium of Los Angeles.
Lauren has produced media for diverse collaborators including Brave New Films, All Things Comedy, AwesomenessTV, the Downtown Women’s Center, Union Station Homeless Service, NASA’s JPL and more.
